Emerging record producer, singer, and songwriter, at the age of 14, Ferro produced/ arranged, wrote, and completed an entire album.
Ferro, who is Black and Puerto Rican, was born in New York and moved to Atlanta in 2019 to attend Woodward Academy. Obsessed with Usher as a baby and singing on stage since the age of 3, his love and respect for music have been undeniable. But it wasn’t until the pandemic that he began making beats out of boredom. His mom signed him up for a virtual beats-making class with hundreds of kids from all over the world, and every time he created a new beat, his creation would be amongst the top 3. That’s when he discovered he had something special.
In the Summer of 2024, Ferro traveled to Italy with his school and performed in four cities, and at St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City. He’s also attended the Otis Redding music camp, where he has produced, written, and performed at the Macon Opera House, leading to a holiday performance. That’s when he received his first paycheck
for music. Ferro says, “My mom framed the check for me, and it’s hanging prominently in my room to remind me of what’s possible when you do what you love.” On August 8th, 2024, Ferro released his first single and video, “Stay with Me,” available on all streaming platforms. “It was a labor of love. My mom allowed me to release a single if I did
the research on distribution, shot my own video and most importantly, got good grades.”
Ferro aspires to be a musical household name and believes that with hard work, it will all pay off. He modestly says regarding his latest single about life and love from a young man’s lens, “I believe it’s a solid body of work for a 16-year-old, and I have room to grow.”
