Reese was born in New Orleans, LA and raised in Vacherie, LA with his hard working mother “Barbara Braxton” and four (4) siblings, where he gathers most of his inspiration from but it was his father “Marshall Gilbert” who was an eminent neighborhood DJ that gave him his love for music.
Shortly After Hurricane Katrina devastated Reese's birthplace in 2005, he left Louisiana to pursue his career as a rapper, he spent one (1) year traveling, spending time in Various cities in states such as Texas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and last but not least Tampa, Florida where he has resided since 2006.
Reese says although his struggle and hardships bring forth inspiration he would much rather use it as motivation and focus on the enjoyment of living life to its fullest, and it reflects in his lyrics developing a unique propensity of party music that gives off an eruption of musical excitement and fun energy.
With one (1) of the hottest mixtapes out in the Central Florida area “Overtime 25/8 (Hard Work & Dedication)” is building a buzz bigger than he expected and Official Reese Is gradually climbing the ladder of success and gaining a lot of club spins with his single “Party Hard”.
