DJ C-lo, also known as Christopher R. Smith, was born in Jacksonville, FL. He began to DJ at Bethune-Cookman College in Daytona Beach, Fl. and in less than 2yrs he has taken over DJ scene by storm. C-lo has experienced continuous growth and success, showcasing all over Florida at events such as: The Florida Classic, Black Beach Week in Miami, appearing on BET's Spring Bling and Spring Fling at BCR 2005, the Kappa Luau in Tallahassee, BCC's Homecoming, Famu's Homecoming, Come Together Day in Jacksonville, and not to mention the Super Bowl in Jacksonville, Fl.
C-Lo made his professional debut at the Lil Wayne & Lloyd banks concert in Jacksonville in April of 2005. The concert was held at UNF's Arena, where over 4,000 people were in attendance! Currently he is training other DJ hopefuls so that they are able to DJ as well as he can.
In 2010 DJ C-lo started the Power Up DJ’s movement and as of now it includes DJ's across the state including places such as: Orlando, Jacksonville, and even Miami. DJ C-lo recently entered the mixtape game and has dropped The POWER UP Vol. 1 & 2. ESSENCE MIXTAPE ,NBA ALLSTAR GAME MIXTAPE , BLACK SKI WEEKEND MIXTAPE, and URBAN FIESTA MIXTAPE, with over 5000 COPIES given out each year!! In 2011, C-Lo joined the COOL RUNNINGS DJS coalition, led by DJ Bigga Rankin.
Memorial Day weekend in MIAMI just wasn‘t enough for DJ C-LO and he has stepped it up to include URBAN FIESTA, held at San Juan, Puerto Rico, which includes people for all over the country!!
